The Firule hospital is one of the most important works by Zoja Dumengjic. We documented the location in photo media, while noting sequences of the original architectonic details preserved in recent reconstructions.
About authors
Zoja Dumengjić was born in Odessa 1920. as Zoja Petrovna Nepenina. In 1927 she graduated from the Architectural Department of Zagreb Technical Faculty.
She is one of the leading Croatian post WW2 architects, particularly successful at designing hospital and healthcare buildings.
